Health Access Tip: Get your water in.
Just like the roses need hydration so do you! The Food and Nutrition Board at the federal Institute of Medicine suggests men have about 3.7 liters daily. That’s about 15, 8-ounce glasses. Women should have about 2.7 liters, or 11 glasses.
So drink up! Or at least try to remember to drink your water at every location!

Location: Redbud Park
Since 2012, Topeka artist Jonah Graf has transformed discarded metal into striking sculptures inspired by the natural world. Drawing from a deep appreciation for nature, he sources materials from recycling centers, scrap yards, and salvaged metal parts that might otherwise be destined for the landfill. Through his work, Graf gives new life to forgotten materials, crafting sculptures of Kansas wheat, corn, flowers, birds, dogs, and other familiar forms. He views the process as connecting one expression of nature to another, blending environmental stewardship, creativity, and community impact. His sculptures celebrate the beauty of the Kansas landscape while demonstrating the artistic potential of reclaimed materials. To learn more about Jonah follow him on Facebook
